The story about the story: Talking Walls was initiated by Philippe Pelsmaekers, a former adman.
He was struck by the craftsmanship, personality and artistic endeavor of the quaint and often humorous signs of small shops from around the world, that he wanted to meet the people behind them and share their stories.
He jumped on a plane to India in search of the best tales.
Few years later, with the help of the most fantastic people on earth, Talking Walls puts the stories of the streets from four corners of the world on its collections, sells its products across Europe and expands to overseas markets.
Walls that speak?
For sign painters around the world, small businesses inspire beautiful typographic art. These artists defend true craftsmanship by painting their art on windows and walls. Now they continue their work on your clothes.
In conceiving their styles, they pay the utmost attention to detail and narration. After all, in addition to being beautiful, her scarves have a story to tell.
Its box contains a beautiful story.
Each scarf is individually wrapped in fine tissue paper, packed in a luxury (recycled) cardboard box.
Not just a hang tag.
Its hangtags will give you more information about the history it uses.
It includes a little word about the design and provides (if available) the exact GPS coordinates from where you are.
Embroidered logo + country ribbon.
Each design has an embroidered red W-logo as a token of our quality as well as a tiny ribbon-flag indicating the country of origin where the design is sourced.
All Talking wall scarves are made in an Indian textile workshop with which their stylists created a strong partnership over the years.
All styles are made from premium, sustainable, soft fabrics, manufactured with respect for working and environmental conditions.
