Becksöndergaard: The Danish accessories brand in love with color, glitter and patterns. They never stop reinventing themselves, as creativity and joy are their driving forces.
On April 11, 2022, a private investment consortium backed by the two founders of the company, Lis Beck and Anna Søndergaard, agreed with the private equity firm Valedo Partners to buy the company they founded 19 years ago.
When Anna and Lis founded Becksöndergaard in 2003 in Copenhagen, they set out to create accessories for women who love playful, personal designs that can be styled season after season. Soon the brand became famous for its unique colors, contrasts and prints. In a world where trends matter but are secondary to a personal sense of style, Becksöndergaard represents opportunities to create a totally custom look. They offer collections chock-full of beautifully crafted items, from bags to socks to scarves, and those certain pieces that turn up and seem too important to miss.
The brand has developed exponentially over time with the introduction of new collections full of personality and attitude. Today, the brand is sold in more than 18 countries.
