Inspired by his best known alter ego: Ziggy Stardust created in 1972.

After traveling to New York, discovering the nights of Studio 54 and the Holy Trinity of New York - Iggy Pop, Andy Warhol and Lou Reed - Bowie decides to change his alter ego.

He left Hunky Dory and his sophisticated femininity behind and, probably motivated by the men in women's clothes roaming around the Warhol Factory, became Ziggy Stardust, probably his most famous character.

His aesthetic was radicalized and his desire to break with stylistic gender roles became even more evident in the use of makeup in a theatrical way and his taste for garments with bizarre prints, cuts and patterns.

Ziggy adapted the glam style, thus championing Bowie this movement started by his great friend Marc Bolan, leader of T. Rex.
